Like you, I have a passion for poker. I love poker because it is an endless challenge - the game is simple but the different factors in each poker hand make each decision unique. I like the fact that poker challenges me in ways beyond the strategy in the game - it's challenging not only intellectually, but emotionally as well. Poker has taught me how to deal with set-backs in a positive manner, using them to motivate growth. It has taught me how to set goals for myself and the rewards of achieving them. And when I'm on a roll, poker gives me that emotional high that makes me feel like I am invincible, at least to scare cards on the river.
I'm a professional poker player who makes a living playing NL cash games, both 6-max and full ring. I've been playing poker since 2004, but I started to play poker as my sole source of income late in 2009 when I lost my real job. I built my bankroll and my confidence at the .25/.5 games on Poker Stars. Late in 2010, I started producing videos for CardRunners.com. Today you can find me playing NLHE and cap on Poker Stars
My long-term goal in poker is to become an elite NLHE cash game player. I believe that this is an attainable goal for me if I am persistent and work on it every day. I hope that I can help you achieve poker goals along the way.
In May 2012, I packed up from Chicago and made my way to Canada. Nowadays you can find me half the time in Windsor, ON grinding, but I'm only allowed to be there a max of half of the time, so I'm looking to get more involved in coaching and also playing on US sites again.
